PayPal
I've signed up with Paypal to accept credit and debit card payments on-line.
About PayPal
PayPal is the world's number 1 online payment service -- it's accepted
on over 3 million eBay auctions and thousands of online shops. It
provides an instant and secure online payment service. It is used by 8
million people in 39 countries. PayPal now constitutes over 10% of all
Internet traffic in the financial services category, more than Citibank,
Wells Fargo and Bank of America combined.
How it works
PayPal acts as an intermediary between the buyer and the seller.
Once you sign up with PayPal, it enables you to send money to anyone
with an email address and PayPal will deduct the money from your PayPal
balance or charge your credit/debit card. Recipients are notified by email
that they have received a payment.
You won't have to worry about your privacy, because PayPal keeps your
account information safe. All the security, encryption, passwords, validation,
etc. are handled by PayPal.
