About Me

I was born in St. Albans, UK in 1966, to Hong Kong Chinese parents. I graduated at Imperial College, London in Computer Science, after which, I pursued a career in the computer industry, which suited my left thinking logical brain.

One of my hobbies is martial arts, having trained in Wing Chun during and after my time at University. As with all martial arts, it develops control over, and sensitivity to, one's body.

How I got into Kinesiology

In 1991 I visited a health show trying different things. One of them was Kinesiology. The logical brain wanted to know, why with all his martial arts training, the person on the stand was able to move his arms and legs around so easily? So to find out, he joined a weekend course in Kinesiology. One thing led to another and he qualified in 1992 with the Association of Systematic Kinesiology.

After collecting a few year's worth of Dr. Sheldon Deal's seminars, the logical brain wanted it all organised in one volume, and I wrote the first edition of 'Kinesiology - A Compendium of Techniques'. A few more years has passed since then and I have updated and expanded the first edition with the latest techniques into the second edition to help kinesiologists.
